As you are all probably aware we will be holding our annual "TONY WEBB TROPHY" competition on Sunday 27th June. The competition is designed with all players standards in mind,so everybody has a chance of winning.
The format this year is to start at 10.00am and complete at approx 2.00pm with a BBQ and trophy presentation to follow. We would like to see as many of you as possible and it is also open to intermediates. Entry Fee is Free but there will be a charge of £5 for the BBQ.
In order to plan the competition properly I will need to know by no later than 23rd who would like to enter and also who would be staying for the BBQ. Please feel free to invite family and friends to help make the day a success. Please contact Kevin for details/payment
The first Tony Webb trophy was won by Andrew Jones - a very well organised and successful day - blessed with good weather and appredcated and enjoyed by all. we were honoured by the presence of Tony's family including his son Richard who very kindly agreed to present the prizes to the winner and the runners up. This will become an annual mid summer event, in celebration of Tony’s long and happy membership of the Club.
