The Junior Section

Welcome to studham tennis club juniors section 2010. Check out the easter coaching on the 7th and 8th April in the coachin section !!! Happy 2010 season ... we have a lot of locally entered teams this year - so good luck and enjoy your tennis!

The winner and runner up of the under 13's 2008 was Jack Griffiths and David Bryan.
The winner and runner up of the under 10's 2008 was Robert Mitchell and Mark Selby.

The Juniors even beat the 'seniors' at Texas Tennis in December !

We welcome all ages and all standards – our youngest member is 4 years old - if you are not a member yet - don't worry - just turn up on a Saturday between 2-4 pm and have a go ....

We have our regular Saturday afternoon coaching with Sally Parry – a grade 3 LTA coach. Beginners are from 2-3pm and Improvers from 3-4pm with some social play afterwards.

Our Boys Teams competes in the South Bedfordshire League and we will be arranging some friendly matches for non-team members.

We also run an annual Junior American Tournament in the summer and also have an annual 'easter camp'. This is open to all juniors regardless of standard and age – an American Tournament allows all abilities to compete through a constantly changing handicap scoring system and playing with different partners.

There will be Refreshments and Prizes and entry is free to members and only ₤3 to non-members download the entry form and further details here.

We are also proud to announce the launch of our Junior Club Championships. These are open to all Junior Members with the finals being played in September. There are 3 championships – Under 14, Under 10 and Doubles Drawn. All matches will consist of one set with the finals being the best of 3 sets. Closing Date for entry is 6 July.
